PROCEDURES & TECHNIQUES

For a small, concentrated area of mold damage, we’ll clean surfaces such as floors, countertops, and walls with EPA registered products to remove the mold. For more serious conditions, we’ll cut away the damp drywall, sand the wood and replace it if necessary. In floors that have been affected, once the floorboards are repaired and traces of mold are remediated, we’ll dispose of the infected carpeting and replace it with new carpet.

Our team is certified and qualified to perform mold remediation, mold detection, and mold removal. Our professionals work closely with our clients, insurance companies and industrial hygiene specialists to provide full service and effective mold cleanup to recreate a healthy living and working atmosphere.

MOLD DAMAGE & HEALTH ISSUES

Certain Molds can produce allergens ( a substance that can cause an allergic reaction), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins). Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

Allergic responses include hay fever-type symptoms. Those symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, and skins rash (dermatitis). Allergic reactions to mold are common. They can be immediate or delayed. Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold. In addition, mold exposure can irritate the eyes skin, nose, throat, and lungs of both mold-allergic and non-allergic people.
